Tavi joined Applied Medical, Inc in May 2006. She received her certification in Lymphedema in 2003 from the Academy of Lymphatic studies in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. National Certification was acquired through the Lymphology Association of North America in October 2006. According to the Lymphology website, Tavi is the only therapist in North Dakota west of the Missouri River that holds this level of credentialing This shows Applied Medical's commitment to excellence when it comes to it's specialty areas. Tavi was originally a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who graduated from Anoka, Minnesota in 1992. In 1996, Tavi went on to become a registered occupational therapist. Tavi graduated from the College of St. Catharines in St. Paul, MN in 2000 with honors. Upon graduation in 2000, Tavi returned to her home state of North Dakota where she worked in rural hospital environments for several years. Tavi specializes in lymphedema, edema, splint fabrication, upper extremity orthopedics and neurological rehabilitation. Tavi is a member of the Lymphology Association of North America and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Tavi's hobbies include spending time with her family, camping, hunting and volleyball.
